In this picture, we are showing our hands to make sure we have no open cuts or any injuries and we can cover them up with a band aid and a rubber glove. And just to make sure if our cuts start to bleed the blood will go in the glove and not in our food.
Your hands can easily spread bacteria around the kitchen and onto food. It's important to always wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water: before starting to prepare food. after touching raw food such as meat, poultry and vegetables.
In this picture are showing we are wearing an apron to stop any bacteria from our clothes going into our food. And it stops food getting on our clothes. And we are also showing we are wearing the correct shoes and that they are tied up so we are not able to trip over them and really hurt our selves.
In this picture, we are showing that our hair is tied up in a bun and we have a choice of a hair net to prevent hair from getting in your food and causing it to contaminate our food. Because if your hair falls out it gets in the food. Long hair may get burned or caught in rotating blenders/mixers
